Mixer

As announced previously, we will organize a mixer as a replacement for the reception party at the BSJ87. Below please find some detailed information about the mixer. We look forward to having you all there to facilitate your interactions and networking.


BSJ87 Mixer

Date and Time: 8 Sep (Fri) 17:30 - 19:30

Venus: Faculty of Engineering Cafeteria + Rooms I (212)

What we offer: Snacks and drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol drinks)

Fee: 1,000 JPY

Special cooperation: Suntory Holdings Ltd. (kindly offered non-alcohol drinks)


Notes:

  1. Please pay your fee when you first enter the room, and you will receive a piece to mark your nametag, which is needed to move between rooms or re-enter the venue. Although we accept payment in all rooms, for administrative reasons, it would be appreciated if you could come to the cafeteria rather than rooms I and J in case you join the mixer from the beginning (at 17:30 or slightly later).
  2. There will be no opening remarks ("乾杯") etc. Please feel free to start networking once you enter the venue.
  3. Snacks and drinks will be offered in all rooms, and please refrain from moving between rooms carrying your drinks and snacks. In case it is necessary, please pay your maximum attention to keeping the stairs and the corridors as clean as possible.
  4. There is not much space in the corridors. Please do not make a queue before 17:30 to avoid overcrowding.
  5. There is a university co-op store downstairs. Please be considerate of the other users when you stay in the corridors/stairs.
  6. Please be considerate of other participants when you take snacks and drinks, as we may not be able to offer as much as needed. Besides, Hokkaido University is in the middle of the city, surrounded by a number of decent restaurants, bars, pubs, and cafes. Downtowns (Odori and Susukino) are also easily reachable, and we kindly encourage you to continue networking in the surrounding area in Sapporo.
