Plants adapt to the dramatically changing environment by integrating intrinsic and extrinsic signals through the function of plant hormones. Recent expansion of sequence data and variety of model organisms enable us to trace the evolutionary path of hormonal pathway originally identified in angiosperms. In this symposium we will discuss with young scientists from broad fields and countries about the origin and evolution as well as specialization and co-evolution accompanied with species differentiation.
