Venue
Faculty of Engineer at the Sapporo Campus of Hokkaido University
Regular talks, symposia, and public lectures will be held at the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University (Sapporo Campus) in a hybrid face-to-face and online format. Company exhibitions and high school student presentations will be held in a face-to-face format at the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University. As for the banquet and mixer, we are planning to hold them, although it depends on the status of COVID19.
Poster presentation will be held online only.
Forms of presentation
Regular oral presentations, symposia, seminar for the promotion of diversity, Award Ceremony, Award Lecture, Public Lecture, symposium sponsored by the board of BSJ, satellite meetings
It will be conducted in a hybrid format at the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University, with new coronavirus countermeasures and online from Sep 7 till Sep 9.
Poster presentation
It will be held on the ORSAM portal on Sep 4.
Presentation by high school students

Banquet and conference mixer
The banquet and conference mixer will be held according to the status of COVID19 in Japan.

Registration for regular presentations
The registration site will be open from19th April. Presentations are limited to the members of the Society. If you are not a member, but would like to present, first register as a member in the society https://bsj.or.jp/eng/membership-2020.php Note that undergraduate students also need to register to as a society member to give a regular presentation at the annual meeting.

*1 Undergrad students who apply for presentation should become a member of BSJ.
Undergrad students who do not give presentation should show their student ID at the reception onsite or provide contact information of their supervisors at the registration website.

For the 87th Annual Meeting, the abstracts will be available only in web-based abstracts (ORSAM Portal) and PDF format. We will not produce a conventional printed version, but will mail a printed version of the program which includes the list of presentation titles to early registered participants. The PDF version of the abstracts will be available on the members-only page of the conference website after the conference. Please note that access to the ORSAM Portal is not included in the price for this abstract book (only PDF).
